Future Novels

Novel in Progress "Internet Adventure"
This novel is being written in a he said she said format in which the book goes back and forth between two platonic friends as they navigate the internet and the many new influences of electronic media on contemporary relationships. Ronda is a veteran Internet dater while Clark at 40 jumps in to cyber dating for the first time. What starts as casual fun soon develops into more serious adventure, romance and even danger.

Novel "Pajaro Street"
This book I want to draw from my many experiences as the owner of a restaurant on a street that suffered from blatant drug abuse and prostitution within the hometown of John Steinbeck. I have beautiful memories of seeing the movie "The World of Suzie Wong," as a youth and plan to use its portrayal of a "colorful" street life and passion for art and love as a starting point.

Writer's Statemant
Thirty-five years in the restaurant business has filled my heart, mind and soul with stories of life, love and passion. It is amazing what people share with their local restaurant owner, bartender and food server. Those of us in the hospitality industry also tend to travel, party and live in a way that also generates rich memories and stories. Having a mother who earned an education and traveled the world with her art inspired me to paint my world with art and surround myself with people who have unique and colorful perspectives on life. Being born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and living on the east coast, west coast and in Europe has touched my views of the world and life in a variety of ways. I've always known that at some point in life I would take all these experiences and combine them with my over-the-top imagination and write fiction. I have so many novels in my head I sometimes feel they might crack open my scull with their desire to burst from my mind and get onto paper.
In addition to the interest and creativity of my stories and their marketability, I love people and talking to them about creative writing and fascinating stories. I get along with all types of people including agents, publicists and talk show hosts. My desire to create a new career through writing is magnified by my compelling desire to share stories. I also have a history of being incredibly prolific with the object of my passion and my greatest passion is now writing.
